My Artsy Baby R&G

I recently had the pleasure to get to know Molly from My Artsy Baby. She has one of the most adorable shops on Etsy. She is so talented. She specializes in painting custom wood and canvas growth charts and canvas wall art. All her work is hand made by her and is 100% original. No prints or reproductions. I recently had the pleasure to get to know Debbie from Unpetitelapin. She has the cutest shop!! Her story is really inspiring. A few years ago she was a pediatric nurse and loved it. Good days and bad. Then her health took a turn for the worse and she was diagnosed with Lupus. She had to quit her job that she loved because of her illness and it took a while to get her strength back. Now she spends a lot of time creating and designing new things for her shop. And I, for one, love the things that she creates. Look at some of her darlin items.

I really enjoy seeing the work of someone that is truely talented and unique. That is why I love the work that Jennifer from ShadowDragon Dreams does. She is amazing at what she does. She was also so kind to make a little extra room in the dress for Presley so that she can wear it all this year and most likely next too!! YAY!

Day One!

Yesterday I made a promise to myself. A promise only I could keep! A promise that I would get the weight off and keep it off! Yesterday, I joined weight watchers. I went to my first meeting last night. I actually enjoyed it. I joined with a coworker, she is my accountability partner ha! So far today it has been super easy. I dont feel hungary at all! I cant wait to see what next Monday night says on the scale. I almost hate posting this because I feel like I am setting myself up for failure, then I realized I really could you the support and motivation that you would give me.

Now on to my weekend!!! Friday we stayed in mostly nothing to exciting there. Saturday, my sis-n-law Crystal and I took the kids to get some stuff for Connors birthday. She has two boys and I have three kids. I am still in aw the ignorance that people are when they speak. I cant count on two hands how many times we heard "Boy, yall got your hands full." Really? Why do people insist on making judgements about how many kids one has? Yes its a little crazy at times but we wouldnt have it any other way! Anyways we shopped for most of the day then came home to get started on party details. I cant believe my nephew is going to be 2 in two weeks. Time sure flies! After that, my parents came over and picked up my kiddos to spend the night with them. Rarely are we kid free. Sometimes the boys go off and sometimes just Presley but hardly ever are they all staying somewhere. I didnt know what to do. It was so silent. Ha! Kris and I decided to do Valentines then. We went to eat and to a movie. It was so nice!
Today, Sunday, Kris took the boys to see the Harry Potter movie here for $1.50 and Presley and I went to the grocery store and then home for dinner.
That was our weekend, what did you do?

Huggable Hoots

We recently decided to re-do Presley Kates bedroom. Its is definately a work in progress. We I decided to go with Owls as the theme. I love them right now and so does she. Plus with them being so popular, you can find some really cute things. I recently had the pleasure to get to know Melissa of CanelaJoy Creations! She is so talented. She makes the cutest little stuffed owls. They are part of her Huggable Hoots Collection.

She got started making her owls when she was the sleep deprived Momma to a five year old. Bedtime at her house was a nightly chore. Her daughter struggled with bad dreams and didnt feel safe in her own bed so Momma got to work! So what did Melissa do to ward off these ugly dreams? She designed and created these awesome plushie owls. Arent they cute? 

Melissa was so kind to send this sweet Sophia owl for Presley. 

Not only is the owl adorable, but it comes with a little story too that I plan on reading to Presley Kate alot to ward off those bad dreams. I hope that this little owl can bring Presley lots of comfort at night.

On to The Bachelor! I love Monday nights for this one reason. It never gets old seeing Brad, does it?

So what are your takes on this season if you watch? I love it. I watched Brad the last time he was the Bachelor and I can tell that its different for him this time. Who are your fav girls?

My favorites are definately Emily and Chantel. Emily is such a good person. You can just tell by the way she talks. She has been through so much. I think she will be a great Bachelorette next season(if she is chosen to be?) And I really like Chantel O. Last night she told Brad she loves him (Aww, ha) and had nothing to gain or lose by doing it because she already had a rose. They are so cute when they are on the 1 on 1s.

 Have you read the spoilers? I do. I do every season. I just cant wait I guess lol. If you havent read the spoilers and want to know who he choses go HERE. I am happy with who he ended up with! Spoilers say that they are still together! Maybe this one will last?

But let me tell you who I dont like lol. Michelle. She is a crazy freak-azoid! Does she really think that he would go for someone telling him what to do? She is crazy! I will be glad when she is gone! Another one I was happy to see go last night was Amy. She reminds me of someone I went to school ha!
